When recording in 8K, the X5 heats up more due to higher power consumption. The Thermo Grip Cover reduces the camera’s surface temperature, ensuring more comfortable handling even during hours of shooting.
*Insta360 X5 records at 8K30fps, which increases power consumption and may cause the body to heat up. This is a normal phenomenon.
Advanced Cooling Technology
The cover is made of graphene-based phase-change materials (PCM) that efficiently dissipate heat. This can reduce the camera’s surface temperature during 8K recording by up to 7°C (44.6°F).
