Unfolding the tripod

Press the "Push" button on the base to extend the legs. There are no strange elements here. Just don't force them open, they're not made for that.

Folding back

Grab around the Insta360 logo and press to retract the selfie stick. The legs will fold themselves, just be careful not to pinch the skin.

Extending or retracting

Pull to extend, press to retract. It's a straight line.
